INDIVIDUALITY is EMPOWERING or DISEMPOWERING. Here we look at the mutative aspect of any Design. This is the potential to allow real change into one’s life from recognising that there truly is something within you that is different from anyone else.

Here we discover the Channels where your muse flashes into existence, and through empowerment in the expression of your difference, you begin to own essential parts of yourself that may have lingered unrecognised since childhood.

It has often been said that “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” and this is true. But many of us have repressed this beauty because of its difference and from mainstream collective ideals and rules, from the entrenched Tribal values that have held power over us and our communities.

In this course we begin to define precisely, through the incredible penetrative power of Human Design, what may have been regarded as ‘odd’ or ‘weird’ in our Designs and discover its potential for great profundity, poetry and passion. These parts of us do not seek to belong, they yearn to express true uniqueness.

The Collective is here to SHARE.

What is shared depends upon the Channel that is in play. There are two distinctively different Collective Circuits. If a Channel is within the Understanding Circuit then logic rules the sharing. Keywords such as precision, correction, reasonable or unreasonable, focus, facts, rhythm, timing, theorising and others apply when considering the often well-meaning energy from this Circuit. It is here to bring more function and ease to all our lives looking into the future.

If the Channel comes from the Sensing Circuit then logic has nothing to do with what is shared. The energy from that Circuit contains the volatile rollercoaster emotional cycles, full of fantasy, desire, overwhelm and the expression of experience. Change is a key theme whether it be the way one can make different sense of the confusion of the past through thinking about it from different perspecitves or change in the way that experience helps us to grow in our character. Here we find expansion through experience and hear the stories that make us disturbed or hopeful; revelations about the past can be pertinent in the present appreciation of our current lives.

The Tribe is here to SUPPORT.

Here we find keynotes of community, love, territory, possession, loyalty and treachery. This Circuit is grounded in the material world and who belongs with whom.

Food and resources figure strongly with many people who have strong Tribal definition, but also there are the laws of the Tribe to be obeyed.

This is deeply personal business. The tribe are “up close and personal”, where you may get reminder letters in the post for a late payment when the Collective Understanding Circuit is involved, here you get a loud knock on the door. The Tribal people know where you live and you need a face-to-face to renegociate the bargain you made with them.

Here we find the Tribal warriors and the fierceness of a mother protecting her child or the going to battle for territory to enrich the coffers of the acknowledged King/Queen.

This is the Circuit where the needs of the people are deeply important and whether it be food, shelter or education there is the inherent drive to rise higher in the material world and be touched by God.
